KOKODA TOURS - A unique fly-over tour of the Kokoda Track - 1.3hrs flight time
The tour departs from Jacksons Airport, Port Moresby and follows the wartime main supply route to Owers Corner, the beginning of the Kokoda Track. The flight gives you a unique bird's eye view of the main battlefields. From the air it is possible to clearly identify the main features and routes taken by the Australian and Japanese forces as they advanced and withdrew along the track.
Our well-versed pilot will provide a commentary on the campaign including a description on how the major engagements unfolded. The tour includes two stops, one at Isurava, and one at the Kokoda Memorial where guests are given a minumum of 45 minutes on the ground in each location to look around.

KOKODA ADDITIONS - Options and additions to the basic tour include extra stops at Myola, Brigade Hill and Owers Corner.

HeliScope PNG works closely with Kokoda Tour operators so if you and your party wish to meet up with trekkers, stop more often on your basic tour, or add the Heli Tour onto your trek, we can help arrange that.
